The LeRoy Heritage Museum will host a program titled, “Early American Tools,” scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. Admission is free, however donations at the door are appreciated to help make future programs possible. To reserve a seat, participants are requested to register the names of those attending by emailing info@leroyheritage.org or by calling 570-364-5003 and leaving a voicemail.
Rich Gulyas will take a closer look at several types of tools that early settlers in this area used to survive in the wilderness. A variety of tools will be on display and their importance discussed. Participants may also bring unidentified historical tools for the speaker to identify. Gulyas is Environmental Education Specialist at Mt. Pisgah State Park and serves as a trustee at the Bradford County Historical Society.
This presentation will be held in the Lewis Opera House/Ballroom, located on the second floor of the LeRoy Heritage Museum. Those requiring handicapped access should contact the museum in advance to inquire about the options available. There is a limit of 60 participants.
The museum is also open on Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. Come for the program and stay to browse the museum. A large selection of local history books and other items are available for purchase in the gift shop.

The museum will be open for special hours during LeRoy Old Home Day. We will also be selling ice cream at the event.
Join us for a concert with Van Wagner. Wagner is more than just a musician; Van is a cultural Ambassador for Pennsylvania. With an extensive collection of folk albums dedicated to the state’s rich heritage, Van has spent over 35 years chronicling its stories in song. His passion extends beyond music, encompassing in-depth explorations of Pennsylvania history and the intricacies of its forests. As an educator, essayist, and presenter, Van shares his knowledge through various mediums, inviting audiences to discover the deeper narratives of the Keystone State.
