Our Research Collection

The LeRoy Heritage Museum houses the largest collection of local history material pertaining to southwestern Bradford County that is available anywhere. Below are examples of some of the research material in our collection. The list grows each month.

  • Canton Sentinel and Canton Independent-Sentinel original newspapers and microfilm.
  • Troy Gazette-Register original newspapers and microfilm.
  • Extensive local history book and periodical library.
  • LeRoy Justice of the Peace records - 1840-1950. 
  • 45 years of LeRoy Township assessment records - 1890's through the 1930's.

Research Requests

LeRoy Heritage Museum is no longer scheduling in-person research appointments. Requests for information must be submitted by email or by U.S. postal service and the museum will confirm what resources are available, if any. The requester will be notified of potential available resources and the hourly fee or copy fees involved.
